A seer, Abiye Prinewill has predicted that the next Governor of Rivers State must come from the Kalabari community.
Princewill who disclosed his prediction during an exclusive chat with our correspondent in Port Harcourt last week, declared that the Kalabaris are riped to produce a Governor in Rivers State.
The Seer said that the Kalabaris have contributed much to the socio-economic development of the state, therefore deserve the right to produce a Governor come 2015.
He maintained that if the All Progressives Congress (APC) fields a Kalabari governorship candidate, then Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would not scale through, “If the both political parties bring out governorship candidates from the Kalabari area, then we can choose the best between the two”
Princewill sadly recalled how Chief Ebenezer Isokariari, a governorship candidate on the defunct All Peoples Party (APP) from the Kalabari extraction in 1999 lost to Dr. Peter Odili, an Ndoni man. The Seer described the situation as “very sad and unfortunate”. He attributed most of the challenges rocking the Kalabari ethic nationality to the inability of Chief Isokariari becoming a Governor. Princewill called on all the freedom fighters in the Kalabari kingdom namely: Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, Farah Dagogo, Sobomabo Jackrich alias Egberipapa and others to come together to ensure that the dream of a Kalabari man to become Governor in Rivers State in 2015 come to a reality.
He said the Kalabari man would suffer for 20 years, if he fails to produce a Governor in 2015.
The man of God further called on the clerics in the area to pray for the emergence of a Kalabari Governor next year.
The Seer further predicted electoral victory for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2015. He declared that no candidate would defeat President Jonathan and advised politicians to rally round the President to succeed. ###
