Rivers State To Be A Tourist Centre

Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Nnabuihe Imegwu has reiterated government’s resolve to make Rivers State a Tourist Centre to compete favourably with other tourist centres across the globe.
Dr Imegwu made the assertion recently in his office during a media briefing.
The Commissioner who acknowledged the importance of Tourism for having touched all aspects of human life assured the media of effective partnership as the preliminaries to this year’s carnival begins at the end of the month.
According to him, the Ministry has started classification of various hotels in the State in partnership with the hospitality industry. ###
