Green Field School Proprietress Nearly Killed By Task Force

Whatever thing that hunted the life of the business tycoon, proprietress of Green Field School and Ayoro & Sons, as she survived what would have been a fatal accident on Monday, may 14, 2012.
The task force spreading all over Port Harcourt with their hazard of risking peoples’ lives, led by one Boma ran into her school bus at railway station frontage at about 1pm on the fateful day.
Eyewitnesses who spoke to this weekly said the driver did not commit any driving offence when men of the task force stationed right in the railway station premises ran into the bus and dragged the steering with the driver.
The driver has it that he came from Hospital/Club Road into the Railway Road when a bus coming opposite him blocked him and four men came out to stop him, their vehicle blocking him bumper to bumper.
He has it that one of them entered his motor through driver’s seat and marveled how the locked door was opened.
According to him, the man went directly to his car key and when he refused, he held him by the throat as they struggled, causing the motor to fly over pavement into the bush about to hit the railway wall.
He said all the time they were struggling, his proprietress was inside the motor, shouting, begging to hear from the task force warriors to no avail.
He went on to say that at the end of everything it was discovered that the woman fell unconscious out of fear and people tried to revive her. She was taken to Teme Hospital where she later regain herself.
The story was confirmed by the DPO, Railway Police Station who described the act as evil and said that the culprit has already been arrested by his men and that he is in custody, pending when police will be through with their investigations, for the culprits to be charged to court.
Attempts to interact with the said Boma who led this task force were made but he was not ready to talk to our reporter. ###
