Clergy Launches Charity Ministry

The Demon Destroyer and General Overseer of the Apostolic Fire Ministry, Rev. Prophet Mike Akindapo, has declared that his guest speaker in the just concluded programme, Apostle Eugene Ogu, has challenged his life and for him to accept this challenge he has to make charity a ministry.
Speaking to the press, the man of God said that Eugene Ogu instead of taking money from them as other ministers, including himself do, he awarded scholarship to three orphans in the church from nursery school to university.
Beating his chest, he said if Eugene Ogu could do that, he too could do it.
Prophet Mike stated this as he awarded scholarship to nine orphans in the church on Sunday July 29, 2012, during his 45th birthday anniversary celebration.
Earlier, during the alter call which brought about the scholarship award, twelve children came out, but three were sent back as he said those three have already won his education fund.
Answering questions from newsmen, he attributed the presence of the Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, in the service that day to his identity in the state and because he loves God who the Governor loves also.
He prayed for the Government and said Amaechi’s Government is a product of prayer and fasting.
In his birthday message to the state, the prophet assured spiritual sanitation of the state, adding that previous leaders of the state polluted the area with blood and that the present leaders are trying to avoid bloodshed, though the state is still suffering the nemesis of those innocent blood spilled.
He also advised Christians to draw closer to God at all times, describing Niger Delta as headquarters of marine spirit, pointing out that cases of polygamy, divorce, community crises, fighting of all kinds, sex in dreams, eating in the dream and prostitution in the region are practical hand works of these demons, adding that one can only be free from these if he is in the fold of Christ.
Portraying his charity ministry which he has just started, he pointed out numerous women he would assist in their different endeavours including provision of accommodation, and asked God to provide for him so that he could do the work of charity as church offerings could not run the charity ministry.
A gift of a bus was handed over to the prophet in the course of the service which made him to lie down in ecstasy.
He drove the bus round the premises and said it was the fulfillment of his prophecy to the church earlier that they would get two buses that will aid their movement.
The occasion was graced by the Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Sampson Parker, representing the Governor of Rivers State and the King of Egi Kingdom, among others. ###
