Moses, Okagbare Secure Nigeria Best Award

VICTOR MOSESThe duo of Victor Moses of Liverpool football club of England and Super eagles of Nigeria and Blessing Okagbare of Nigeria tracks and sprints has been awarded Nigerian best player and tracks of the year, 2013.

While Victor Moses was favoured against fellow compatriots, Mikel Obi, Isaac Mba as the Nigeria best player of the year, the Queen of Nigeria tracks, Blessing Okagbare was favoured as the best Nigeria’s track sports lady of year, 2013.

The award was conducted at Lagos to celebrate Nigerian sports men and women who had distinguished themselves within year 2013.

Others worth of mention are Stephen Keshi who was given the best National team coach of the year as well as the most outstanding indigenous national team manager of Super Eagles.

The Eaglets Coach, Manu Garba was also voted as the coach of the national junior team based on his success with the Eagles at UEA.

He was also promoted to manage the U-20.

Garba Manu has accepted the appointment in good faith and had said that he is going to maintain the squad that won the U-17 world cup with him.  ####
