APC Will Fail – Kelly George

The Principal and Leader of a frontline socio-political group known as, The New Alliance, Hon. Dakorinama Alabo Kelly George has declared that the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC would fail in the next year general election.

Hon. Kelly George who made the declaration while speaking at the inauguration of the Asalga Ward 11 officers of the association at Abalama Community in Asari-Toru Local Government Area, last weekend, described members of APC as “drowning politicians”.

Hon. Kelly George who applauded the leadership of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP both at the local, state and national levels, charged the people of the area not to identify with the All Progressives Congress (APC). He noted that APC is a political party that cannot see the light of the day during election.

The leader of The New Alliance lauded the leadership style of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, adding that his administration has impacted positively on the lives of Nigerians.

The leader urged the people of Ward 11 to give all necessary support to President Jonathan to succeed in the next year general election.

Hon. Kelly George had earlier charged the members of The New Alliance to stand firm, stating that no political party has the capability to take over power from the PDP. He said that PDP as the largest political party in African would continue to rule and control the affairs of the Nigerian State.

In his speech the former Commissioner for Environment in Rivers State, Hon. Chief Paweriso Samuel Horsfal called for a total unity in PDP. He described PDP as an indivisible family that could not be defeated by any opposition party.

The former Commissioner averred that APC cannot go far because it has no tap root in the Nigeria’s political structure. He enjoined the members of PDP to always stand by the party that the ruling PDP has done much as regards to the socio-economic development of the nation.

The erstwhile Commissioner lampooned all the elected officers from Asari-Toru Local Government Area who had defected to the opposition APC. He threatened that the constituents and the PDP would retain the mandate given to them (defected elected officers) by recalling.

Chief Samuel Horsfall commended the members of The New Alliance for supporting the ruling PDP and urged them to work assiduously towards the actualization of President’s second tenure ambition in 2015.

The highlight of the occasion was the inauguration of the officers of the Association in Ward 11. ###
