Provost challenges FG On Eradication Of Malaria

The Provost of the Rivers State College of Health Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Dr. Charles Amadi has called on the Federal Government to continue to sensitize the people on the need to eradicate malaria.

The Provost was speaking during this year’s world malaria day, said that mosquitoes are the carriers of the malaria parasites.

He lauded the Rivers State government and advised individuals to keep their environment clean and also make use of insecticide treated nets.

In his speech, the Director of Public Health Service, Dr. Nnanna Victor Onyekwere described this year’s celebration as sensitization of the people about malaria and how to eradicate it.
