As the world cup is just days away, the chairman of one of the notable Allstars football club of Rivers State, Miyene Ibiye princely Senibo of crystal Allstars football club of Port Harcourt has offered a word of advice to coach Stephen Keshi, in order for him to succeed with the 23 players he has chosen to represent Nigeria in the World Cup.
The humble servant of the people, said, Keshi should make use of his experience acquired over the years to prevail in the world cup, but above all, he should make use of discipline while praying for mother luck and the best in the World Cup.
He also reacted to the 23 man list released by Keshi, saying, that the list is not bad but he would have wanted the likes of Sunday Mba and Uzoenyo Ejike to be part of the list.
However, Keshi has explained his reason of dropping Nations Cup hero Sunday Mba, saying that Mba did not show hunger in his training sessions, according to Keshi, the player is lukewarm through out the training sessions which to Keshi means he is not mentality ready for the world cup, and he (Keshi) does not want to risk his chances.
For Obinna Nsofor, Keshi said, the player is injured and looking at the situation he may not get through his injury before the world cup will end, meaning, he may not play even a match, hence taking Nsofor to the world cup is a waste.
However, Ibiye Princely Senibo is optimistic that Keshi will do well with the lads, if only the players and Keshi are disciplined and focused throughout the duration of the World Cup.
Urging Keshi to integrate himself in the team as to maintain discipline and take every match as they come, believing that Nigeria will get to the semi finals , if Nigeria gets to the Semi Finals anything can happened, like winning the World Cup.
“Keshi being a lucky coach may lift the world cup the moment Nigeria qualifies to the semi final stage, he said. ###
