Obio/Akpor Allstars Election: Chief Amadi Emerged Chairman

The peaceful election conducted by the Obio/Akpor Allstars football club on Saturday being 21st of June, 2014, Chief Amadi Nna Felix has emerged chairman of that election.

The election was fair and free, devoid of any violence 23 eligible voters cast their votes to elect the new set of the club officers to pilot the affairs of the club for the expected time of their duration according to the club constitution. Chief Amadi was elected alongside with others.

They include Kelechi Moses – Vice Chairman, Okemini Iheanyichukwu Oscar – Secretary General, Elder Chinda Lexy – Chief Coach, Hon. Chuku Okechuku – Public Relation Officer

Others are, Pastor Michael N. Chuku – Financial Secretary, Emmanuel Wokead – Captain, Waru Nnoru- Treasurer, Mr. Chinedu Ogbogbo – Team Manager and Coach Stanley Eguma – Technical Adviser.

It was a lively occasion as both the newly elected exco and the outgoing exco of the club shared their moment of jubilation in the most civilized manner as they cracked jokes to compliment the outcome of the election.

Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of the new exco to the club members by the outgoing chairman of the club Felix Olisa while advising the chief Amadi new exco to take Obio/Akpor Allstars to a new height as never being attained before.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Chief Amadi Nna Felix said, his exco is going to serve the club with sincerity.

Speaking on behalf of his exco, he hinted that “we are going to treat you with respect in a new treaty. This is a new dawn. We are going to serve with the best of our ability”.

The new exco will be duly inaugurated on the 5th of July, 2014 as to usher in the chief Amadi led exco to formerly start work as the newly elected exco of Obio/Akpor Allstars football club.

Chief Amadi celebrates his victory in the polls with few bottles of drinks with friends, associates and club members.

Meanwhile, Chief Amadi was unchallenged as no candidate contested against him as chairman of Obio/Akpor Allstars football club.

Few positions were also not challenged as only a single candidate went in to the poll. ###
