Welldone President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, But…

Nigerians are searching for good and credible leaders that will take them to the next level of development. Since independence in 1960, so many governments had governed this country including military and Interim National Government.

Each of the successive administrations tried its best to ensure that the living standard in the country improved. Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s administration is not exception to initiate policies and programmes that will resuscitate the nation’s economic sector.

Since Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan assumed office as the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, his Transformation Agenda is visible in all the facet of the national life, especially in the areas of road construction, transportation scheme, education, health care delivery, security and several others.

His policies have impacted positively on the lives of the people of Nigeria. Nigerians are beginning to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

According to an African proverb, “a child that does well must be applauded”. We lauded the developmental strides of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan looking critically the implementation of his Transformation Agenda.

In as much we commended the President’s leadership styles and performances; there are still a lot of things to be done in order to put smiles on the faces of the citizenry.

We are not so comfortable with the security operations in the country, lives and properties are continue to be under serious threats. The academic performances in the educational sector move downward day by day. Our health care delivery system and the judiciary are in shambles.

The East/West road and other federal roads are still begging for attention. The unemployment rate is increasing day and night. Something needs to be done in this direction to avoid unnecessary economic chaos.

Though we give kudos to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for his numerous achievements, let him buckle up and revisit some of his policies and come out with aggressive programmes that will turn around the fortunes of the entire nation. ###
