AFCON Qualification: Senibo, George Say Eagles May Quality

As the AFCON qualification heats up, the Super Eagles have started her campaign on a sad note. In the quest to satisfy your curiosity The Newswriter Sports spoke to the duo of Barr. Karibi George, the Public Relation Officer of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, River State chapter and Engr. Miyene Ibiye Pricely Senibo, the chairman of Crystal Stars Allstars football club of Port Harcourt, on the possible qualification of the Eagles.
According to Barr. Karibi George, Nigeria’s pedigree in AFCON should make her qualify. He added that a victory over South Africa should ease the pressure on the coach and the Super Eagles.
On his part, Senibo posited that the Eagles may qualify because they have the players to do that.
However, he opined that he is doubtful of Coach Keshi’s team selection method, hinting it is rather sentimental and political.
The outspoken stakeholder of Nigeria football, who is also the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Rivers State chapter, said, he is optimistic that Nigeria will qualify if Gabon could come to Nigeria and beat Nigeria, boosting his confidence by saying that a win in the South Africa match will propel the Eagles to the path of success leading the way for the AFCON qualification. ###
