The Vice Chairman of Rivers State Petroleum Products Monitoring Committee, Amb. Anosike Orduwa said the mammoth crowd witnessed at the recent mega rally organized by the Rivers State government to celebrate, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi’s achievements and his victory at the Supreme Court judgment on 25th October, 2007 seven years ago at the Greater Port Harcourt, Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State was an indication that the All Progressives Congress is on ground in Ikwerre LGA and Rivers State in general.
Amb. Orduwa made the remark while in a chat with journalists at the venue of the mega rally at Igwuruta Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
According to him, the crowd proved that the entire people of Ikwerre LGA are for APC.
He expressed optimism that the APC will sweep the polls in all the elective positions both in the LGAs, states and the federal level.
Amb. Orduwa commended Governor Amaechi for his developmental strides across the 23 LGAs of Rivers State described him as “a performer” who has made Rivers people proud in the comity of nations.
According to him, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechhi has performed excellently in all sectors including education, road, infrastructural development, human capital development, health, employment and empowerment generation, security network, award of scholarship to students, agriculture for abundance supply of food among others.
He further disclosed that Governor Amaechi cannot be compared with any governor who had governed Rivers State in the past as he remains the best rated governor.
He advised the incoming governor in Rivers State to consolidate on Governor Amaechi’s wonderful achievements across the LGAs of Rivers State.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress Party APC in Port Harcourt LGA, Hon. Temple Wobo said the crowd which gathered at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Greater Port Harcourt City, Igwuruta in Ikwerre LGA at the mega rally was an indication that Rivers people are for APC and that the APC is the party to beat in 2015 general elections.
The APC Phalga chairman attributed the crowd to the excellent performance of APC government led by Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. ###
