Asalga/Akulga Federal Seat: Boma Goodhead Rejected

The people of Asalga/Akulga Federal Constituency have rejected one Boma Goodhead, the candidate on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying that she is not capable of representing them in the lower chamber of the National Assembly.

The people of the constituency met and took the decision at Abonnema, headquarters of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, also thrown their weight behind Dr. Dawari George, whom they described as a “better option”.

According to them, Dr. George has performed wonders and declared that he is the only person that can take them to the Promised Land as far as dividends of democracy is concerned.

Dr. George is running a second term on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Asalga/Akulga federal seat.

A member of the constituency, who simply identified himself as Elder John Bob-Manuel, said that Boma Goodhead is not well qualified to represent them in the National Assembly.

He maintained that if Dr. George is given the chance to continue come March 28, 2015, expressed optimism that better things will begin to come to the constituency.

Elder Bob-Manuel noted that after sixteen (16) years of uninterrupted democracy, person like Boma Goodhead cannot represent them.

“We need people like Dr. Dawari George who has all what it takes to do the job. He is qualified in all ramifications, moreso, he is an experienced lawmaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Boma Goodhead cannot do the job for us. She is not qualified. We don’t need her; we need somebody that is very sound. And that person is Dr. Dawari George”, Elder Bob-Manuel concluded. ###
