Butchers Boss Advises Members To Vote Candidates Of Their Choice

The body of butchers and meat sellers under the auspices of the National Butchers Union of Nigeria, Rivers State chapter Oginigba Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt. Have advised members of butchers and meat sellers to come out and vote.

Alh-Musa Baba Ahmad (Owerre), Chairman of the National Union Butchers of Nigeria told news men in Port Harcourt that many of their members who register in their state have gone back to their states for the forthcoming elections slated on Saturday 28th March, 2015.

The butchers union boss advised butchers and meat seller in the state to vote a candidate of their choice and they should also vote for a credible contestants that can bring peace and be supportive to the small scale industries, and government that can support the butchers and livestock (Agricultural loan) to support them to grow big.

He also noted that the present government has not been able to support the butchers in soft loan, he believes that if they vote a candidate that has the butchers at heart it will help in assisting their businesses to another level He also emphasized that if the butchers vote a credible candidate it will also help them to move their business forward and they will be also carried along in term of government support butchers loan scheme in Rivers State. He also warned the butchers and meat sellers not to be involved in any act that will bring wrong image to the union, that they should be calm and observed their civil right by voting according to their conscience on Saturday’s election.

He further said that the information reaching him is that he should restrict his movement for unknown attack. In another development the chairman has expressed his gratitude and appreciate his members for their support for his administration, and urged them to be law abiding citizens of Nigeria.

He also stressed that those who did not travel and are here in Rivers State they should not be panic that they should come out enmass to vote on Saturday for a candidate that can take them to a promise land that will uplift their lives, if they vote a credible candidates it will also encourage the butchers and meat sellers in the area of creating a conducive environment for them to invest as you know if there is peace in the north the price of cow will be less, if there is also peace in Rivers State our business will flourish. ###
