Presidential Poll: Party Chief Mobilizes Yoruba Community For Jonathan

A prominent member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Chief Dele Daniel-Kalio, Fuamakiri IV has called on Yorubas residing in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area to come out enmass on March 28, 2015 to vote for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Chief Daniel-Kalio who made the call while addressing a crowd of Yoruba indigenes in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, described President Jonathan as a good leader.

Chief Daniel-Kalio who is also the chairman of the Forum of Chiefs and Elders of Port Harcourt Constituency II, extolled the leadership qualities of President Jonathan and highlighted some of his achievement which include: resuscitation of the railway system, rehabilitation of roads, fighting corruption in fertilizer distribution, improved foreign reserve amongst others.

He pointed out that the various achievements of the president have fast tracked development in the country. The Fuamakiri IV further raised the issue of President Jonathan convening the National Conference, which he said had earned praises from all including Yoruba leaders such as Richard Akinjide and Bola Tinubu.

Chief Daniel-Kalio called for the re-election of President Jonathan. During the interactive session which was also conducted in fluent Yoruba experts were invited to educate those present on the proper way to cast their votes so as to avoid casting invalid votes.   ###
