Leaders to pilot the affairs of K. Dere in Gokana Local Government has been inaugurated
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Saturday September 26, 2015 at the community town hall and those offices sworn-in included Council of Chiefs and Elders, with Enoch T. Gbarabe as chairman, Lloyd Booko as general secretary, Community Development Committee (CDC) with Festus Legbara as chairman and Promise Kpenu for the office of General Secretary.
In the same vein, Sunny Olulu was sworn-in as Youth leader and Barida Laka as general secretary. Women forum is led by Esther Monokpo and Neninibarini Farah for general secretary. Other offices included Ex-officio which is led by Feegalo Mitee, Auditors who are Samuel Vure and Barioma Gbarabera and legal advisers included Ledum Mitee, T Z. Bornu, Baridilo Deekor and Barinaadaa Gbarabera.
The chairman of the occasion, Augustine Assan who thanked the people of K Dere for allowing peace to reign said without which the occasion couldn’t hold also tasked them to keep the peace forever. He also charged them to unite adding that with unity they can do everything.
Pastor Friday B.C. Gboro in his ministration charged the officers to respect the mandate, honour which their people had given to them and serve the community well for it is their responsibility to do so.###
