Buhari Oppression On Niger Delta Must Stop Rev. Soberekon

An elder stateman and Senior Advocate of Niger Delta (SAND) Rev. (Dr.) Sokari Soberekon charged President Buhari to stop the oppression of the Niger Delta people, before we pull out peacefully, after the 100 years of Sir Lord Lugard Amalgamation.
Making a case of Port Harcourt Main Market that was destroyed during the civil war, the Senior Advocate of Niger Delta and the establisher of oil derivation with former President Aihaji Shehu Shagari in 1981, appealed to President Buhari to order his Inspector General of Police and Minister of Education to remove the police children school on the land of Port Harcourt Main Market, which was destroyed during the civil war.
Speaking further, he pointed out, asking, can Onitsha, Kano, Kaduna, Ibadan or Oyigbo Lagos markets use for police children school? The roving parliamentarian urged the Federal Government to approach Governor Nysom Wike of Rivers state to use some of the hell of king Alfred Diete Spiff Civic Centre to make a temporary police children school, and build the Port Harcourt Main Market and also build the police children school.
He also want the Federal Government to rebuild the Abonnema Wharf Jetty, to enable the Niger Delta people travel easily because that is the gateway of the people of the Niger Delta, stressing that Bonny Nembe Jetty too should be rebuilt by the Buhari led Federal Government, adding that Port Harcourt City and Roads have been turned to markets.
He thanked President Buhari for appointing the Former Governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi as Federal Minister of Transport. ###
