Six (6) days ago, the once happy family of late Pa Dagomie Abiante and incumbent lawmaker representing Andoni, Opobo-Nkoro Federal constituency in the lower legislative chambers of the National Assembly, Hon. Awaji-inombek Dagomie Abiante has been thrown into a serious mourning as unknown gunmen besieged the family house of the lawmaker at Ngo town, headquarters of Andoni LG to whisk away the mother of the lawmaker into an unknown destination.
The gunmen reportedly struck Ngo town at about 8.25pm on Saturday 28th November, 2015 via a known creek to a waterside close to the popular junction and residence of the lawmaker, whose abducted mother, Mrs. Dagomie Abiante was reportedly by discharge from the hospital after a major surgical operation.
In a similar development, wife of a prominent youth leader in the Local Government and ardent supporter of the PDP, Comrade Mike Amakiri, aka Camala was said to have been abducted earlier on Thursday same week.
Feelers at The Newswriters’ disposal said no contact has been established with the abductors of the two important women in Andoni society.
Meanwhile, friends of Hon. Awaji-nombeek Dagomie Abiante of the House of Representatives and Comrade Mike Amakiri of the National Youth Council of Nigeria are calling on the abductors to immediately without condition and further delay release the victims to their families, since the families had suffered and cried enough.
