Hon Isenah Extols Orufa

Hon Tonye Isenah, member, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, representing Kolokuma/Opokuma 1 constituency under the Labour Party, (LP) has commended the former chairman of Yenagoa Local Government Area, Hon. Boloubo Orufa.

Hon. Isenah made the commendation during the birth day party of Orufa who just clocked 44, at Udeme Hotel Yenagoa, describing him as a sincere leader whose legacies could not be quantified as he has touched several lives inBayelsaStateand beyond.

The law maker further stated that it was good to celebrate as “Orufa is very humble a devoted Christian and more so a great philanthropist”.

Hon. Orufa while making his remark, thanked God Almighty for attaining the age of 44. The Thankgiving church service took place at Assemblies of God Church, Onopa, along Lambert Eradiri road, Yenagoa.

Orufa stated that the secret of his success depended on God, through whom he has attained greatness, having been former Local Government Chairman, Special Adviser to a Minister and several political appointments.

The celebrant enumerated several achievements in his life, such as beein a philanthropist, improving the revenue base of Yenagoa Local Government Council, giving scholarship, among others, while thanking those who contributed and honoured the invitation to his birthday

Several personalities like the Deputy Governor ofBayelsaState, the clergy, politicians, women groups, attended the occasion. #####
