Blessed be the month of May
The very month that I was born,
Born into this sinful world
I shall remain grateful to God for May
In this miracle month of May
Were you beautifully conceived
A second miracle I didn’t perceive,
Could take place in marvelous May
You grew in peace and love and
awesome of men were filled with surprise
As they watched you growth with amazement
And gave to God excellent praise!
Then came the agents of darkness
To spoil my hope and gladness
To expel you when undue
But failed in their scheme to subdue
Because the mighty man in battle
Fought the visible with invisible battles
And made men marvel
Your daddy named you ‘patience’
For God is working out in patience
The best for our lives in essence
I call you “divine favour
For you were bestowed through
God’s Divine-Favour’
May you grow up to be:
A man of God, to choose the narrow
Way that leads to heaven!
To teach, encourage righteousness and holiness of God
A peace maker, life saver, a philanthropist
May you grow up to be
What God really wants you to be. Amen.
