The senator stated this during the 11th annual South South Zonal Prayer Warriors Conference organized by Rev. Godswill E. D. Jumbo of the Endtime Prophetic Prayer Network (EPPN) in Port Harcourt, the River State capital.

The conference has the theme, “Violence Shall No More Be Heard In Thy Land Wasting Nor Destruction Within Thy Borders, But Thou Shall Call Thy Walls Salvation And Thy Gates Praise”
Senator Abbe said prayer is the only key that could put a stop to kidnapping, militancy, Boko Haram menace, cultism and all kinds of killing in the society, adding that no one could bring genuine change without prayer. He enjoined all Nigerians to continue praying for the country.
Hon. Nwidadah speaking in his own capacity, said he would want everybody to join hands together and work hard in other to reduce corruption to the barest minimum in the society.

Also speaking, Dr. F. R. Briggs of Christ Assembly, while praying for the country, said what Nigeria needed at this time are upright and truthful people in government and that there should be a total transformation in all our schools, ministries and the society at large.
“One of the problem facing Nigeria is corruption and the church and Christians should rise up and cry out for righteousness as it exalts nations,” he said.
Ministers from different denominations present, prayed for God’s mercy upon Nigeria, the three tiers of government, and for rapid development of the south, south region and unity of Nigeria.
