Senator Sekibo Tees-Off For Senator David Mark

The Senator representing Rivers East Senatorial District, Hon. George Thompson Sekibo on Saturday, the 15th of December Teed off at the Air Assault Golf Club in celebration of the club’s 25 years in existence.
Senator Sekibo represented the Senate President, David Mark who was originally billed to perform the tee-off ceremony to mark the aniversary.
The Senator used the medium to reveal that there are bills about sports in the senate, adding that the entire senators were committed to be golfers, and if the golfers in the senate sponsor a bill it will have a favourable hearing.
He also disclosed that there are no particular sport the senate will favour more than golf, as most of the senators are golfers, squash and other different sports. This means that if particular sections of the senate sponsor a bill about their preferred sport they will be taken seriously.
Senator Sekibo said he was overwhelmed by the experience of teeing off at the Air Assault Golf course.
He used the opportunity to pledge to be a member of Air Assault Golf Club henceforth. ###
