Yobo Says Galatasaray Clash To Crown Turkish Kings

Joseph Yobo has told MTNFootball.com Fenerbache derby against Galatasaray next month will decide the new Turkish champions.

Yobo’s Fenerbahce  host Istanbul rivals Galatasaray on May 12 in the second to the last game of the season.

Fenerbache are currently second on the table with 55 points from 29 matches, four points adrift of leaders Galatasaray with five games to go.

The former Everton defender said their destiny is in their hands and that the game against Galatasaray may well be the title decider.

“I want to win the title this season and that will be my second time doing so with Fenerbahce. We lost the title to Galatasaray on the last day of last season. Now we are four points behind them with five games to go and we have a game against them (Galatasaray) at home. That game will do lot in deciding who wins the title,” said Yobo.

“We have a very good chance to win. We are not lacking quality in my team with myself, Emre, Raul Mirales, Moussa Sow and other. We can match any team in the  world with this team.”

Yobo won Turkey league title with Fenerbahce in the 2010/2011 season and Turkey cup in 2011/2012.

Fenerbache are also through to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League after they eliminated Lazio.
