The Port Harcourt club 1928 Lawn Tennis section has got a new captain. He is Emmanuel Obiora.
The new captain of the tennis section was unanimous in accepting him as their able and competent captain, long over due to lead the section to it greater height.
According to a former captain of the section, Barr. Karibi George, Emmanuel Obiora is one of the strongest pillars the Port Harcourt Club lawn tennis section will forever be proud of anyday, anytime, stating that the new captain is a man who has regard and respect for all the members of the section, and had never slack in contributing to the growth of the section even at it trying moment.
Outspoken Karibi George further revealed the traits and personality of the new captain, saying that with a man like Emmanuel Obira in the saddle, he is optimistic that Port Harcourt club 1928 lawn tennis will expectant achieve a lot.
Speaking further, Karibi Geoerge stressed that even when he has not been a captain, Emma Obira, as he is fondly called by his admirers shoulder the section issues as his own personal problems.
He was quoted as saying Emma Obiora exploits as a player of tennis, and his life style is one that always attracted people to him, hinting that Emma Obiora is a good motivator of his fellow tennis players both in the lawn tennis court and outside the court. Describing him as a good motivator of the section.
Stating one peculiar attitude of Obiora, Karibi George said, even when he is not occupying any office, he acted as the section Public Relation Officer as he will attracts friendly matches for the section both outside and at home.
Emma Obiora is humble, gentle, charismatic, tender, kindhearted, discipline, loving, social and above all God fearing. He does all what he does with the fear of God in his life.
Emma Obiora is a strong advocate of school sports being that he is a product of school sports. And he makes the Port Harcourt club Lawn Tennis section as his second home, to show his sincere and passionate love for the game of lawn tennis. ###
