Rotimi Saves Dolphins from Desperate Sharks Defeat

Port Harcourt soccer fans were treated to a total football of difference in a local derby between Sharks and Dolphins of Port Harcourt at Sharks stadium.
Desperate Sharks did all what she could to run Dolphins down to no avail as skipper Sunday Rotimi rose up to the occasion by stopping all Sharks goal bound moves.
Sunday Rotimi was the man of the match as he denied Sharks all desperate moves at goal from the blast of the whistle, Sharks showed her desperate intention to claim the match by playing like wounded lions in the Nigeria Professional football premier league in week 5 encounter.
Sharks got 3 penalties within 2 minutes of the first half while Sharks only goal which was disallowed came through striker Ajani Ibrahim (jersey No. 8) at the 12th minute.
A total of 4 yellow cards were issued, Dolphins 2 yellow cards. Dolphins attacker Ebube Okpokwu was yellow carded at the 20th minute of the first half, Tijani Adamu of dolphins while Obomate Fredrick of Sharks was yellow carded alongside his counterpart from Sharks in the 30th and 66th minute of that encounter.
Both sides created goal scoring opportunities which were not converted. Though Sharks would have run away with victory if not the steadfast brilliant performance of skipper Sunday Rotimi who kept Sharks all desperate goal bound moves at bay.
Sharks to ensure that she claims three maximum point on her ground, made all the necessary changes to no avail.
While Coach Gbenga ogunbote stood at the sideline for all 90 minute while Coach Stanley Eguma was calm sitting comfortably at his seat thoughout the match.

The match came without it challenges as supporters of Sharks resolved to intimidation of Dolphins fans and supporters. Though Sharks was the better side for the day, they have no goal to show for it, despite all Sharks desperate attempts to claim victory.
Dolphins got some consolation goal scoring chances but for her poor attackline could not utilized all the opportunities that came her way.
Striker Ebube Okpokwu was a flop in Dolphins attack line.
The game ended goalless. ###
