Sharks, Dolphins Are One – Isaiah Ogolo

ISAAC OGOLOThe chairman of Sharks football club supporters club, Isaiah Ogolo has clearly stated that Sharks and Dolphins are one.

Ogolo made this categorical statement to The Newswriter sports owing to the surmounting pressure put against Dolphins by fans and supporters of Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt anytime both sides are playing against each other in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

According to him, Sharks and Dolphins are children of the same parents hence they exist as one, as both teams are sponsored by the same Rivers State government.

The peace loving Sharks supporters club chairman, further disclosed that his administration as chairman of Sharks supporters club is purely out to bring both supporters club to understand the purpose of supporting both Sharks and Dolphins, stressing that he does organized supporters of Dolphins anytime Dolphins are playing over few bottles of beer to create that oneness of purpose.

He noted that it is unfortunate that some of the supporters club members do not understand the relationship between Sharks and Dolphins “It is true that Sharks is the premier club of every Port Harcourt soccer fan but Dolphins came as the sister club sponsored by the same Rivers State government.

“A win for Dolphins is joy for Rivers people just as a win for Sharks bring the same joy to Rivers people. He however noted that his reign will bring perfect understanding between both supporters club.

This was demonstrated maturedly when Sharks lose to Dolphins at this year 2014 federation cup finals on 4th of May at Sharks stadium. Before this time, it has never been so easy as supporters of Sharks will never allow Dolphins win peacefully and go away with the trophy at Sharks stadium without some fracas.

Both side supporters exhibited maturity to the end of the game. ###
