In our edition of March 27 – April 2, 2014 on a front page news item captioned, “2015: Kalabari Politicians Make U-Turn…Jostle For Dep. Governorship Slot”. In the said publication, it was reported that Alabo Hon. Paweriso Samuel Horsfall, a former Commissioner in Rivers State and a one time member of the Federal House of Representatives is also contesting for the deputy governorship seat come 2015. It has come to our knowledge that, Alabo Samuel Horsfall has never indicated ambition to deputize any Governorship aspirant in 2015.
Also he has not granted a press interview as regards to deputy governorship slot in Rivers State.
We regret the embarrassment this might have caused the respected Kalabari Chief.
