HAROLD KLEMPThe Eckankar, the Religion of Light and Sound of God family in Port Harcourt has honoured Sri Harold Klemp, the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master, in a well organized dinner party religiously known as “Harji Dinner” on October 4, 2014 at the Temple Hall of Eck, Obi Wali Road, Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt.

The chairman of the ceremony, Odoliyi Lolomari, Assistant to the Regional Eckankar Spiritual Aid, East declared the ceremony opened with HU song.

The theme of the ceremony was “The Healing Power Of HU”, as Chris E. Ameshi, Guest Speaker, at the event lectured on the importance of HU in the life of both Eckists and none Eckists.

According to him, HU is the ancient name of God, saying that singing it with reverence will give health, spiritual growth and eliminates all forms of doubt, anger, lust and Karma.

Furthermore, he said the HU song services as a prayer as well as a love song to God for the Eckists, adding that HU song works for both the Eckists and none Eckists as it works its own way and not the way of man.

He cited an occasion that HU song is an elixir, maintaining that one can sign HU song in any condition either moody or cheerful, at any place and anytime. According to him, Eckists closed their eyes when singing the HU song just to avoid distraction and end it with “may the blessings be” explaining this phase he said it is the same as saying let your will be done, God.

Speaking to journalists, the Eckankar Spiritual Aid for Nigeria, Ifeatu John Arch, disclosed that soul does not die “We are soul as you are singing the HU, love song, most of the things you call sins, negative things will ordinarily leave you, because you are taking the Holy Spirit into your life.”
