KUPIGG Applauds Wike For Accepting To Contest

A frontline Socio-Political Association in the Kalabari ethnic nationality, known as The Kalabari Unity Project Initiative for Good Governance, KUPIGG has applauded the former Minister of State for Education, Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike for accepting the divine call to contest the governorship position in the state come 2015.

Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt, the chairman of the group, Comrade Jerry Horsfall described Chief Wike as a dogged grassroots politician, that has all what it takes to move the state forward.

The KUPIGG chairman expressed optimism that the coming out of Chief Wike as the gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will silence the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

He said that the Kalabaris no matter the storm will continue to support the governorship aspiration of the former Supervising Minister of Education, whom according to him, has the capability to turn around the fortune of the state.

Comrade Horsfall stated that his association would commence mobilizing support for Chief Wike in all the Kalabari communities in Akulga, Asalga and Delga.

“Let us use this medium to thank, Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, as he accepts the divine call to contest for the Brick House. God Almighty will see him through, because he repositioned our great party, PDP when others are sleeping. There is no doubt that Chief Wike deserves the governorship position in Rivers State come 2015”, Comrade Horsfall said.

He advised other contestants to sink their gubernatorial ambition and line up behind Chief Wike, so that there would be massive development in the state.

Comrade Horsfall prayed God to shower His blessings on Chief Wike so as to defeat all his political opponents in the forthcoming election. ###
