LongJohn Celebrates 50 Years

Recently, Bishop Diemieari Anglican Church and Macaulay Committee of Friends and political associates celebrate with a Warisenibo (Hon.) Emmanuel Ogbulu LongJohn at 50.

The thanksgiving service was held at the Bishop Dimieari, Bonny on Monday 20th October, 2014.

In his sermon, the Catchiest in charge of the Anglican Church, Catchiest Joel stated that it is right for men to remember their creator and honour the day of their birth.

Joel recalled that majority of the living persons do not honour God’s presence in prayer. He charged all living being to always seek God’s presence in their endeavours.

In his remarks, the celebrant, Warisenibo (Hon.) Emmanuel O. Hon. Long John thanked God for all he has done in his life, more specially in good health, saying that despite that “but the most important is that I am alive.”

In his speech, Mr. Lawrence T.O. Halliday appealed to all politicians.

Halliday frowned at political differences in the area caused by some new breed politicians. He noted that Bonny has not been in opposition right from time, that “we do follow the leader from above, which make us to be found the national and state politics.”
