Member of the Rivers state branch of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and reporter with the Blueprint newspaper, Mr. Adaye Iyalla has announced the burial plans for his late father, Pa Faithful Obu Stephen Iyalla who demise occurred on July15, 2014.
According to the statement signed by Mr. Adaye lyalla, the corpse of the deceased will leave Kpaima Mortuary, Port Harcourt en-route Bakana via Abonnema Wharf on Saturday, December 13,2014.
On arrival at Bakana, the body of late Pa Faithful lyalla will be received by Ekweme/Kala Obuta families as children, relatives and guests pay their last respect at lyalla Polo, Bakana.
The funeral service will be conducted by the Jehovah Witnesses of Bakana, while interment follows thereafter.
The Rivers branch of SWAN mourns with our colleague and pray that God will give the family the strength and vigour to bear this irreparable loss.
Towards this, members of SWAN in the state have been urged to rally round their colleague to give his father a fitting burial.
