Dakuku Is Too Small To Rule Rivers State – David Briggs

DAKUKUBarely three (3) weeks to the gubernatorial election, the former Commissioner for Works in Rivers State, Chief David Briggs has hit the nail on the head by saying that Dr. Dakuku Peterside, the governorship candidate on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is too small to govern Rivers State.

Chief David Briggs who stated this while addressing across section of party supporters during a PDP governorship campaign rally in Degema, last weekend, declared that the members of the APC have no political muscles to wrestle power with the ruling PDP.

The ex-commissioner urged the People of Degema not to vote for APC in the forth coming general election. Chief David Briggs who was also a former Commissioner for Water Resources, predicted that the APC will fail in this month’s election.

He enjoined the people of the area to vote massively for all the PDP flagbearers in the state. Chief David-Briggs, a one time chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area extolled the leadership qualities of the PDP governorship flag bearer, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, saying that he has the right credentials to lead the state to the Promised Land. The former Commissioner pleaded with the people to give their support to Chief Wike in the February 28, 2015 governorship election.

According to him, “a vote for Nyesom Wike is a vote for positive development, progress, empowerment, skills development, transformation and upliftment of living standard”. ###
