Andoni: Chairmanship Candidate Unveils Agenda

A grassroots politician, Hon. Ben Imie has emerged the Andoni LGA All Progressives Congress, APC Local Government chairmanship candidate in May 6, 2015 party primaries.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the primaries at Obolo Hall, Ngo headquarters of Andoni Local Government Area, Hon. Imie revealed his 5 points developmental agenda, which include promotion of unity, peaceful co-existence and a better security network in the area, connection of other communities in Andoni LGA to the national grid, economic empowerment through the provision of skills acquisition programmes and sources for job opportunities in companies operating in their territory for qualified Andoni youths, provision of portable water supply, eradication of poverty as well as regular payment of deserving Andoni sons and daughters.

He thanked the people of Andoni for finding him worthy to serve and further appreciated the delegates and APC members for their peaceful conduct during the primaries.

Hon. Imie promised to run an open door policy that will give sense of belonging to every indigene of Andoni. He, however, traced his rising political profile to hardwork, dedication and commitment to assigned duties, adding that he has remained loyal to the relevant party authority.

The chairmanship hopeful promised to bring his cumulative wealth of political experience and administrative acumen to bear in running the affairs of Andoni LGA and called on all and sundry to give him the necessary support to succeed. ###
