More Ex-militants Volunteer For Community Policing Of Niger Delta

The number of former militants who signed up for community policing of Niger Delta has increased with more of the former fighters expressing willingness to join the initiative.

This weekly gathered that the new set of former fighters who signed up support for the security initiative included Commander Ugbokuru Blessing, Commander Thompson Igere AKA the Crocodile, General D.P.O, Amos Bebenimibo, Oloye Okirika and Tony Smooth. They pledged to work with Commander Bibi Oduku to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to bring further infrastructural developments to the Niger Delta region.

They also assured the government of their support, while declaring their faith in Commander Bibi’s abilities to work with the current administration to deliver dividends of democracy to Niger Delta.

The ex-militants noted that before the presidential elections, Commander Bibi had already shown that he was capable of maintaining peace in the region.
