A prominent and fontline socio-political group in the Kalabari ethnic nationality known as the Kalabari Unity Project Initiative for Good governance KUPIGG has sent a letter of congratulations to the newly appointed Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Degema Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Tonye Tyger.
The group thanked Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for finding Chief Tyger worthy to appoint him to serve the people of DELGA.
The congratulating message was jointly signed by Comrade Jerry Horsfall, Chairman, Mrs. Tamuno-Emi Amakiri, Vice Chairman, Mr. Bob Spiff, Director-General and Mrs. Emi Abbey Maryan, the KUPIGG described the appointment of Chief Tyger as well deserved and timely.
According to the group his appointment will fuel massive infrastructural development in the Degema Local Government Area.
KUPIGG urged the Delgans to support the new CTC Chairman, expressing optimism that Chief Tyger will launch the LGA on the path of speedy development that will stand the test of time.
The group prayed God to give the CTC chairman the grace, wisdom and courage to pilot the affairs of the Degema LGA to the Promised Land. ###
