Bonny Man UTD Fans Poised For Peace And Unity

Fans of Manchester United in Bonny Island known as Manchester United fans of Bonny on Tuesday 15th of December paid a courtesy visit to the Supervisory councilor for youths and sports of Bonny LGA, Hon. Emmanuel Wilcox in his office at Bonny, the headquarters of the LGA intimating the supervisory councilor for youths and sports, the Director of the security to felicitate with him and the CTC members on their appointments.
The Director of Security of the group, Alwell A. Jumbo while briefing newsmen pledged that Bonny Manchester United fans will forever give their maximum support to Hon. Charles T. Jumbo administration to succeed.
He further revealed that the aims and objectives of the Manchester United fans Bonny chapter is to promote Pace and Unity in sports in Bonny LGA.
The group through its Director of security announced the appointment of Hon, Emmanuel Wilcox as the chairman of Manchester United Bonny chapter while Mr. Isaac Banigo as the group adviser.
Responding, the Supervisory Councilor for youths and sport, Hon. Emmanuel Wilcox lauded the group for coming together as a team and also thanked them for the honour done him and the caretaker committee chairman, assuring the group that the present CTC administration will do everything possible to support the growth of the body meaningfully.
He further assured the group that he will try his best to protect his appointment given to him as chairman Bonny Manchester United fans, advising the exco to work as a team in unity and peace.
In his acceptance speech, the chief of staff Bonny LGA, Mr. Isaac Banigo said, he accepts his appointment as adviser to the group, praying the group to shun rumour mongering and cooperate with all the laudable programmes of the group.
Meanwhile, the Director of security disclosed that membership into the group is open to all and sundry provided one is of good conduct, adding that the membership as of the time of going to press is well over 300, assuring intending members for protection according to the manifesto of the group. ###
