Prosecute Killers Of APC Chieftain Late Christopher Adube, Dakuku Peterside Urges Security Agencies

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Rivers State, Dr. Adol Dakuku Peterside has called on the security agencies to prosecute those involved in the gruesome murder of APC chieftain Late Chief Hon. Christopher Adube and his family members.
It would be recalled that Late Chief Hon. Christopher Adube was brutally murdered in a cold blood along side with his three children, his driver and in-law while in his house after the 28th March presidential elections by the forces of darkness at Obrikon Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni LGA.
Dr. Peterside made the call while addressing family members of the deceased and APC party faithful during the burial ceremony of Late Chief Hon. Christopher Adube at his home town Obrikon Ogba Egbema/Ndoni LGA last weekend.
Dr. Peterside who described the day as sad moment for the APC members and family of the deceased expressed pains and shocked at the lifeless body of the Late Chief Hon. Adube and wondered why people should choose to eliminate the life of a peaceful and principled man who respected both young and old.
According to him “though he held tenaciously to his principles but look at how he was murdered in cold blood gruesomely by the forces of darkness and they think they have triumph over him and the principle he stood for , adding that the late Adube would not pay the supreme price for nothing.
The former commissioner for work in Rivers State who described the death as painful wondered why some people keep faulting the APC members on the death of innocent souls during and before the last election, when they said no body was killed in the elections adding that the party members have seen the lifeless body of Late Adube and his family members he left behind at the funeral service stressing that those behind the brutal murder of the APC chieftain and other s would face the wrath of God.
Dr. Peterside who noted that President Muhammadu Buhari led administration believes in the rule of law called on the security agencies to prosecute those behind the murder of Late Chief Adube and others.
In his tribute to Late Adube, the APC chairman in Rivers State, Dr. Davies Ikanya JP on behalf of the APC in the state commiserate with the entire family of the late APC chieftain.
Chief Dr. Ikanya who expressed shock over the death appreciated the fact that he died a Martyr as he sacrifice his life for the sustenance of democracy “we are therefore resolved not to rest on or oars until the perpetrators of this heinous crime are apprehended and made to face the full wrath of the law.
Earlier in his address at the funeral service ceremony the last son of late Hon. Adube, Mr. Paul Adube disclosed that his father Late chief Adube was healthy and good looking after the presidential election, revealed that on the fateful day being Friday 3rd April, 2015 at about 7:30pm while he was in his house with his children Joy Adube, John Adube, Lucky Adube, his younger brother Augustine Iyke Ogarabe and Samuel while sharing ideas on the plans and modality to be put in place on the Governorship/House of Assembly elections an unknown gunmen invaded the residence shot and killed hi, with five others.
In her speech the first wife of Late Christopher Adube, Mrs. Patience Adube who recounted the event that claimed her husband’s life and others revealed that unknown, gunmen numbering six invaded their residence and shot his husband including his three children and others.
She called on the federal government to bring those involve in the murdered of her husband and others to book
It would be recalled that the late Christopher Adube was once a CTC chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA between 2003-2004. ###
