Secession Plot: Asari, Biafrans In Secret Talks

Asari-dokuboThe Biafra struggle that has sent so many persons to their early graves, penultimate Friday received a boost as the Niger Delta People Volunteer Force (NDPVF) led by Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo joined forces with the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) to actualize the dream of Independent Biafra Republic.
This weekly gathered that the Asari-Dokubo gave his support to the Biafran agitators when the leader of the MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike paid him a visit at his residence in Port Harcourt.
Asari while speaking assured the Igbos that the actualization of Biafra Republic is near. The ex-Niger Delta warlord regretted that the revolt in 1967 led by Late Chukwuemeka Odunmegwu-Ojukwu was crushed three (3) years after by the Nigerian government and other foreign powers.
The Kalabari born ex-militant who described the Biafrans as dispossessed and oppressed people said that the South-South and the South-East no longer had Niger Delta or Igbo, but Biafra.
He encouraged the Biafra agitators not to be fatigued in their struggle saying that the finishing line is not very far again, “no power can stop our independence our freedom is near”.
Asari-Dokubo recalled that three (3) Ijaw kings went on exile because of Biafra with two of them dying there, stressing that Niger Deltans and the Igbos had been brothers right from time. According to him the agitation of Niger Delta and MASSOB was basically an agitation for self determination and economic emancipation.
He explained that Uwazuruike remains the first non Ijaw man at his instance to be initiated into the shrine of Egbesu, which he said “is the pride of every Ijaw man”.
The MASSOB leader said, “Biafra is now assured as we have the support of the Niger Delta.
Asari-Dokubo had earlier cautioned the government of President Muhammadu Buhari on attempt to arrest any freedom fighter in the country.
Meanwhile information reaching our newsdesk had it that, Port Harcourt has been named as the new capital of the yet to be actualized Republic of Biafra. ###
