Rivers Security: Eze Wali Admonished Wike, Traditional Rulers Not To Politicize Security

The paramount ruler of Mgbuesilaru community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eze Ejike Prince will wali, Eze Oha Okporo and Nye Nweli has admonished Governor Wike and traditional rulers of the state not to politicize the issue of security.

The Royal father made this assertion while chatting with the press shortly after he was awarded by different groups with the award of excellent performance in peace in his domain and Niger Delta region.

Namely: National Union of Rivers State students (NURSS) RSUST Chapter, Youth Federation for World Peace and Niger Delta Youth Forum.

According to the highly respected monarch, the state executive should do well to put positive proactive measures in curbing the ailing security situation in the state rather than politicizing security of the state.

In the same vein, he also admonished the traditional rulers of various communities in the state to fish out criminal elements in their domain, saying that these criminals lives with us, hence we know them and their families.

Eze Wali also admonished Governor Wike to create job opportunities for the youths posting that the lack of job opportunities for the youths is also a contributing factor to the high wave of crime in the state. While also advising the youths of the state to endeavour to maintain peace always and pray to God for them to have an opportunity to be of a responsible citizen to themselves and the state.

Stressing that with such an attitude, God will surely bless them with an opportunity that they would always praise His gracious kindness, faithfulness and love on humanity.

He however applauded Governor Wike on his developmental strides in one year in office and prays for God guidance, protection, love for the governor to achieve more in the remaining years ahead of the governor’s tenure.  ###
