KING DARRICK ACHESEOMIE EULOGIZES LATE AMANYANABO OF OGU KINGDOM, Describing Him as Symbol of Unity of Wakirike

The Amanya-nabo of Obomuton Chiri Kingdom in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Royal Majesty (HRM) King Darrick Acheseomie the Obomuton (IX) has enlogised the Mornarch of Ogu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty (HRM) late King Nicholas Dickson Ibiebele Nimenibo, KSC, JP, Loko (IX), Amayanabo of Ogu Kingdom, over his outstanding legacies and leadership qualities that brought peace, unity, and progress to Ogu Kingdom and as well as Wakirike in general.

King Acheseomie, made this eulogy while interacting with the press at his palace after he and his council of chiefs and the people of Obomuton Chiri Kingdom had received the corpse of their respected King from Ogu Kingdom.

According to him, His Kingdom was not supposed to receive the King’s corps due to his stool has not been recognized by the government of Rivers State but as a mark of respect and a symbol of love, unity as well as solidarity from, his Kingdom to the respected King to whom legacies of peace, unity and progress of Wakirike people was paramount. The Kingdom therefore deemed it necessary to give him the honour.

He also stated that  another reason of receiving their King into the Kingdom was the fact that Obomuton Chiri Kingdom is the centre of unity to all the Wakirike people, saying that there is no Okrika man or woman, no matter the clan they come from, that does not reside in Obumuton Chiri Kingdom, therefore advising every son and daughter of Wakirike to emulate the good legacies the Late King Nicholas D.I  Nemenibo, KSC, SP, Loko (IX) Amanyanabo of Ogu Kingdom.
