I, Chief Peter Ihekwaba, Chinyere Ugo 1 of Igbo land, on behalf of my family and people of Oyigbo, mourn the death of our leader Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
He will surely be remembered for ensuring that Ndigbo were not exterminated from the surface of the earth.
I am personally touched because I was one of those the Ikemba crowned in 2008 in Rivers State, in recognition of my humble contribution to the society. I pledge to continue encouraging the youths and to carry on where our hero stopped.
