Eagle Assembly Mission Holds Camp Meeting …As Clergy Solicits Public Attendance

The Chief Servant Central Organizing committee and member of the Eagle Assembly Mission (EAM) Pastor Kenneth Otuekere has called on the general public to attend their 2012 annual camp meeting event which would commence from 27th of August to 2nd September, 2012.
Speaking with journalists in his office at Iriebe Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State Pastor Otuekere who stressed that the public would benefit a lot from the programme disclosed that the objective of the 7 days event was to ensure that the life of Christ and purpose of kingdom work is impacted on people.
The meeting which theme is “for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory will involve seminars/lecture in-depth bible studies, audience participation, practical discussions, symposia, enlightenment at the Eagle Assembly Mission Iriebe.
Pastor Kenneth Otuekere further revealed that since the church has read through the sixty six books of the bible, it becomes imperative that Saturday, 1st September, 2012 will be used as a recap of the discipleship training programme extra (DTPE) in the same meeting at the church worship centre.
The chief servant maintained that the church is not running the programme or inviting people for fund raising but for all calibre of people to come and experience Jesus in the old time way and receive all manners of healing and financial healing in the scripture.
He intimated that there will be free feeding, free accommodation, free registration and free transportation.
He advised the ministers of the gospel to be conscious in their area of calling so as to fulfill the mandate expected from them by God as the day they are into was full of evil, and invited them for the programme.
In a related development, the Managing Director of Inus Scientific, Evangelist Chukwuemeka Uwajimba the chairman of the organizing committee said the upcoming programme was to create awareness to the society emphasizing that if churches will live up to expectation the world will be a better place to live and glorify God.
The Evangelist stressed that the reason for organizing the programme was to make positive impact to the society to activate the moral standard the world needed so that people will know that what is good for a person is what is also good for the other members. He challenged Christians to be their brothers’ keepers.
Meanwhile the church secretary, Pastor Collins Gbaruko informed that from the inception of the church camp meeting since 2004, God has used the programme to bless people and a lot of testimonies have been given with permanent evidence pointing out that the church has grown from glory to glory. ###
