Divine Providence Give Nigeria Nations Cup

The Super Eagles of Nigeria coached by coach Stephen Keshi and co is the new soccer king of Africa is no longer a news to the world but what is new is how the Keshi Eagles achieve the feat, is what matters and desire much to the ordinary man in the streets of Nigeria and in the continent of Africa.

From the first match to the second match, the Nigerian populace never have confidence of the Keshi tutored Eagles for the AFCON in South Africa. It is even sad to know that after the first round, some members of the Nigeria football federation had already prepared return flight ticket for Keshi and his Eagles; this was what brought in the divine angle to the survival of the Super Eagles in the AFCON tournament in South Africa.

Keshi vowed to God alongside with the players begging the almighty God to save them from embarrassment as that will be lead to losing their position in the Super Eagles job from their employer, the Nigeria football federation (NFF).

When Keshi saw what was coming he implored all spiritual method combined with philosophy as well as psychology to address the minds of the players, telling them of what name they would make for themselves if they could play out their hearts as if the AFCON cup is their life, meaning they have no choice but to win the trophy for Nigeria as well as have their names written in gold in Nigeria soccer history for generations to honour them.

This was the turning point that fired the spirit of the players that saw them playing with much vigour and force which was never there in the first round matches.

From the quarter final stage the boys were ready to die rather than give the opportunity to any of their opponent to beat them.

All Nigerians could bear with the players that there was no team as to win the Almighty Ivory Coast team that was more on ground as a team with the array of established players of world repute.

Secondly, the prayers and the circumstance they found themselves prop them to listen to Keshi to form a common family among themselves. Keshi on his part became a prayer warrior that informed Nigeria winning Ivory Coast 2-1 in all the matches the Super Eagles has not scored a goal as a team work rather individual brilliance of individual players made it for Nigeria hence the likes of Sunday Mba of Enugu Ranger and Emmanuel Emenike were heroes.

The reasons are not far fetched, the players were not paid their match allowances after the two matches in the first round matches, meaning that the team was condemned to fail, couple with comments from Nigerians dismissing the team before the quarter final matches.

Really, a team of 5 months could not have stability to blend as to win a tournament hence the Super Eagles inability to score a goal as is applicable to team cohesive play becomes dicey.

Positioning, timing, reading and football follow up really tells on the team chances of scoring goals, which informed the Super Eagles inability to score a team connected goal in the absent of Emenike, where Sunday Mba became the shining star of redemption when he took individual brilliance to score the winning goal for Nigeria to lift the trophy. Nigeria Mali match, Keshi exploited his being former Coach of the Mali team as 9 of the key players constitute the Malian team that Nigeria scored the highest goals in all the matches played in tournament.

Mikel Obi, Moses, Emenike Mba, Ambrose and all the players woke up from their slumber to flow in divine providence to end the 19 years of goal drought to give Nigeria her third Nations Cup.

As of the time of filing in this special report, Keshi had tender his resignation letter and have gone ahead to pronounced his resignation on a metro FM radio station in South Africa. ###
