“Nobody Voted For Amaechi” Sekibo Alleges

SENATOR ABIYE SEKIBODr. Precious Abiye Sekibo has alleged that nobody voted for Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to become the governor of Rivers State.

According to the former Minister for Transport, Governor Amaechi stepped into the Brick House October 26, 2007 for what he calls “Some technicalities”.

Dr. Sekibo pointed out that those who used the technicalities to pave way for Amaechi to take over the mantle of leadership of the state, did “huge mistakes”.

The former federal minister frowned at the governor for not respecting constituted authorities.

Dr. Sekibo was speaking at Omuma during the inauguration of LGA and the Ward Officers of the GDI condemned Governor Amaechi for hosting chieftains of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Government House, Port Harcourt.

“Amaechi does not respect anybody. I heard that he does not even respect his mother. Anybody who does not respect constituted authorities is a big fool.”. Dr. Sekibo concluded.  ###
