An ardent football promoter and enthusiast, Chinda Lexy wants fans to come cheer dolphins and Sharks at the stadium noting that the two Rivers State owned and sponsored clubs are doing well in the Nigeria Professional football league.
Chinda Lexy made the call when speaking to The Newswriter sports over the weekend at Akpor Grammar School, shortly after training with his darling club, Obio/Akpor Allstars Football Club.
According to him, it is necessary for football lovers to come to the stadium to support domestic clubs, like Sharks and Dolphins as to boost the ego of the home based professional football players at home, adding that this will make the players focused and bring out the best in them out in the Nigerian league.
“If the players know that fans are watching them keenly, they will change their mentalilty to the game which will bring the positive and the fighting spirit in them out to be result oriented, he added that Nigeria has quality players in the league”.
He also advised retiring Nigerian professional footballers to come back home to strengthened the Nigeria professional football league, they could come back home to play when finally thinking of retirement, like Sanni Keita of Enyimba football club of Aba.
Meanwhile, he has also congratulated Sharks and Dolphins football clubs for doing well in the Nigeria professional football league, saying that hopefully, Sharks and Dolphins will end the season well.
However, he has also appealed to the Rivers State government to try it best not to frustrate the efforts of the coaches of the two clubsides as Dolphins players are alleged to be owned their signed on fees, saying that this will not be helpful to the progress of the clubs result. ###
