On Monday night armed gunmen took over the entire Buguma community, headquarters of Asari-Toru Government Area of Rivers State. According to our sources, the unidentified gunmen invaded the community and began to shot indiscriminately without challenge from any group or person(s).
They held the community hostage for hours. Though no casualty was reported, as at the time of filing this report some residents have fled to neighbouring communities for safety. ###
