Chief (Prof.) Akuro Addison Atulebo Opuambe has been installed as the head of Opuambe war canoe in Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The installation which took place on Saturday attracted people from all walks of life.
Speaking chief (Prof.) Atelibo Opuambe thanked people of the family for the honour done him and promised to live up the expectation.
Members of the family who spoke with our reporter described Chief Opuambe as humble and respectful.
In his speech, the chairman of the organizing committee, James D. Williams called on the family members to give their necessary support to Opuambe so that he will succeed. ###
