The League of Character Clubs of Nigeria has conferred a character award on Dr. Michael Uche Obasi in Port Harcourt. The Character clubs also honoured Evang. (Mrs.) Obasi with peace award.
Speaking the President-General of the clubs, High Chief Eze Christian A. Y. Kokoriko extolled the leadership style of Dr and Mrs. Obasi.
He thanked them for bringing succour to the needy in the society and lauded their good works.
In their separate speeches Dr and Mrs. Obasi applauded the character clubs for the peace and character moulding crusade which according to them has sown good seeds in the society. They encouraged the clubs to carry on its peace crusade, adding that effective character moulding is the right key to societal peace and progress. ###
