The paramount ruler of Rumuekini community in Akpor kingdom in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, HRH, Eze Louis AmadiWali has appealed to residents of the LGA to rally round the Dr. Gift Worlu- led administration.
Eze Louis Amadi Wali who is the Nye Nweli of Rumuekini community and also Eze Aligba Gbasor of Rumuekini community made this appeal in a chat with newsmen.
According to him, “I want to appeal to the residents of Obio/Akpor LGA to rally round the administration of Dr. Gift Worlu and his team to enable them achieve policy objectives and also take our LGA to a greater height. Infact, for Dr. Gift Worlu to do well in office the political class in this LGA must give Dr. Worlu total support.”
He described the election and victory of Dr. Worlu as a new dawn in the political history of Obio/Akpor LGA since her creation about four decades ago.
He expressed optimism that Dr. Gift Worlu would run a transparent and meaningful administration as well as give all residents of the 17 wards of OBALGA a sense of belonging.
The monarch charged Dr. Gift Worlu to put in his best and also attract community projects to all nooks and crannies of the council; stressing on the need for even developments.
He urged the people of the LGA, particularly the residents of Rumuekini community to ensure peaceful co-existence.
He also charged the youths of the area to acquire relevant skills and also remain law abiding.***
