A leading financial expert in Nigeria Elder Dr. Fred Chidi Ohaka has charged Anglican faithful under the Diocese of Ikwerre to serve the Lord and also contribute their quota to the evangelism growth and development of the Diocese.

Elder Dr. Fred Ohaka gave this charge recently when the Arch Bishop Ecclesiastical Province of Niger Delta and Bishop Diocese of Ikwerre, the Most Rev’d Dr. Blessing Enyinda Jp paid Episcopal visit and post synod service to All Saints Anglican Church Umusun Parish under the Uvuawhu Archdeaconry, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Diocese of Ikwerre.

According to him, as faithful Diocese of Ikwerre you need to serve God in spirit and in truth. At the same time you need not to ask what you can gain from the Diocese but what you can do for the Diocese. Therefore, you must contribute your quota to the evangelism, progress and development of Diocese of Ikwerre. In fact, we must assist Arch Bishop Enyindah to build this Diocese. At the individual level you must sacrifice your talent, time and resources for the common interest of Diocese of Ikwerre. No matter the economic hardship you must strive to always donate generously to the Diocesan projects.

He expressed satisfaction with leadership style of Archbishop Enyindah since he assumed the position in God’s vineyard, adding that his Episcopal visit to All Saints Anglican Church Umusunu Parish is rewarding.

He described Archbishop Eyindah as the true representative of God in the Diocese and that was why his 63rd Birthday was celebrated at All Saints Anglican Church Umusunu Parish, noting that the Episcopal visit and his birthday was a coincident.

“I am a financial expert. I am a born leader and I am also a consultant to many state governments and groups. So, if they come to me I will solve their problems as a technocrat. As a role model I want to urge all Nigerian youths to drop or lay down their arms and ammunitions and find something meaningful to do. After all in the past, during our days we where youths farmers” Dr. Ohaka added.

Earlier, the Archbishop Most Rev’d Enyindah said that the pace by which the Diocese of Ikwerre has set for other Dioceses in the country was not by the making of the faithful under the Diocese but by the grace of God.

“The pace we have set or the height in which the Diocese of Ikwerre has attained or reached at the moment is not by our own making, but it is by the grace of God and His mercy upon his flocks. Therefore, we give God all the glory”.

Most Rev. Dr. Enyindah who took his text from the book of John 6:68 ‘To whom shall we go? A call to keep faith in a challenging worldstated that despite the challenges and insecurity bedeviling the country Nigerians should trust in God and also hope in the Lord.

“Today we have enormous challenges facing us and insecurity bedeviling the entire country. Therefore, I want charge the citizenry to trust in Lord and draw close to God”, Most Rev. Dr. Enyindah admonished.

He lauded the parishioners of All Saints Anglican Church Umusunu and the entire members of Uvuawhu Archdeaconry for celebrating his birthday with him during the Episcopal visit.
